Flowers for the Living

This piece is partly a response to all the death and dark imagery I see that's so popular on this site, deviations with titles like "black rose of death" by shadowX (if either of these are the names of actual deviations or deviants, its purely by accident). I'm not sure why people would choose to be alive yet spend their time dwelling on it's opposite, but I'm sure they have their reasons. Anyway, I thought I would submit a piece that celebrates and honors life for a change. Life is anything but perfect and easy, but it is certainly an opportunity for growth and exploration. I acknowledge and accept the more ugly, grueling, and difficult aspects of being alive in this world, yet choose to focus my mind and heart on the more beautiful and inspiring aspects of life. Its purely a matter of perspective.
